Villette is an AOC region at the heart of the Lavaux vineyards, its name drawn from the nearby commune of the same name. 180 hectares in size and skirting the shores of lac Léman between Lutry and Cully rising from 375m to 600m altitude, Villette is the largest appellation in Lavaux.
A website comprising tourist and wine information relating to the vineyards and terraces of Lavaux, French speaking Switzerland and the shores of lac Léman. A unique region of the world offering good walks, fine dining and excellent wine surrounded by a landscape of vines and terraces facing the Alps and overlooking the lake.
The aim of the Swiss association of independent vine growers and wine makers is to promote the quality and authenticity of Swiss wines.

Grandvaux, a wine producing region in the district of Lavaux-Oron, extends along the lake (900 metres of river banks) till the foot of the Gourze tower. With its 60 hectare vineyard (appellation of Villette and Epesses), its total surface is 347 hectares.
